Great story Harry. Hope you get 200 more!

I have a friend who just moved to NY. He is staying in Queens for now--do you (or anybody else) know any on road tracks in the area?

Oh and I am 37 and I bought my first RC car at 19 (Tamiya Fox) and raced for a year or so. The local track closed and I quit until a couple of years ago I picked it up again.

Always be optimistic, boy !!! In my racetrack there are some 45+ and 48+ years old drivers whose driving skills are so good even the young ones cannot beat them. They are group A drivers. They don't race like mad bull, but they patiently following you and pass you until you make mistake.

Im 30 years old, 7 years with Airplanes and 5 and half with cars ... started with a Kyosho GP Spyder MKII ...

I married last year and fortunately my wife supports me 'cause she say that RC for me its THE way i get my brain all relaxed up after a week working ... she even pit-me during a race last year ... the budget its smaller for RC now im married but at least my RC and NON-RC married life its OK ...

My 5 years old daughter is asking for her first RC car so i think for christmas she will receive something (i still dont know what, but im working on it) ... last year i was to buy a RC car for her but i realized she was so small ... the only condition she ask me is to paint a PINK BODY with BARBIE PHOTOS on it ... arrgrghhh !!!

cya guys ...

40 yrs old / 3 yrs in RC / first year racing onroad sedans.

Seems ironic to me that there's a relatively short amount of time between when you're old enough to be able to afford the good equipment, and when your reflexes are gone.
