From the way it handles I do not believe the rear is slapping, I think it's just cause a square battery, and a large ESC up front.

I built mine from the start with that brass weight, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, and mine still jumps nose down. I have plenty of steering in and out of the corners, and plenty of forward bite, from a dead stop I can nail it and it goes nice and straight. if I could get it balanced enough so that it would jump flat so that I would not have to do so much in the air to control it, it would be perfect for me, but like I said before only raced it one time, so I know I can tweak the setup more.
Get the new truck springs.

FWIW, I noticed on kick-up jumps it tends to jump a little nose down, but on a roller type jump it will jump nose high. (I also use square packs). I run the new truck white springs front and back with 37.5 front and 32.5 back.

Carbon Fiber Chassis for T5M?
i went a few pages and couldnt find anything, but other than X Factory does anyone else make a carbon fiber chassis for the T5M? just curious...

Look up Plan B Racing on FB. They make a CF chassis that is very similar and slightly less expensive.

has anyone tried the brass c and d mounts together? i was wondering if both are too much weight or its better with both? thanks

I have only tried the brass D mounts, my second race is this up coming Saturday and if I cant get the nose up a little to make it jump a little flatter I might try it.

I am finishing up building the Associated 2wd Buggy and truck fleet and have a few questions. If you could help me out understand thing the following, it would greatly appreciated:
1.) The Kit setup has 2mm washer on the steering rack. By taking away the blue washer or changing out to a 1mm, what will that do to the steering feel?
2.) On the T5M, I see several people are using the +4 C Block and a different rear D Block with arrows pointed outward. Again, what would be the purpose for making this change. How does it affect the truck?
3.) What would the difference be on the buggy instead of using 25 + 5 in caster to using 30 + 0...
