I run a fan with the MIP gearbox and temps are coming off at 120, as opposed to 169 with the same gearing and 4 gear with no fan.

might be a dumb question, but in the instruction manual, when assembling the battery hold downs it shows 2 red o-rings, do they just go over the posts you screw into the chassis or do they go in the groove on the thumb screws? The manual dont say any thing and does not show a assembled pic just exploded.

I decided to get a t5m and sell my 22t 1.0 with upgrades. What are the must haves for this truck, any aftermarket stuff that makes a difference, or do any of the brass weights make a big difference. Will be running on a indoor med bite track. Thanks

I had my first run with my truck on Tuesday. The truck is great out of the box I changed to a Yellow spring in the front, Lunsford HD turn buckles and a 3 gear transmission. Im running on medium-high to high traction. I have my 2wd buggy decked out with aluminum but im leaving this stock and just running it.

Thanks for the info guys. I just built mine last Sat. still waiting on new batteries and ESC/motor I did buy the Brass "C" mount and front and rear alum. hinge pin braces as well. can't wait till our first race. still up in the air on which spring kit to buy as they seem to have a couple different sets. will only be running indoors, on a large high bite well groomed 1/10 track. so not sure to get the soft set or med. set.

Without breaking the bank, what would be a good dependable servo for this.

Looking at all them servos I noticed they all are digital and the savox mentioned something about external BEC on some ESC's I am going to be running a SMC ESC so would I need to get something else to run these servos? I have never ran anything digital only std Futaba's and Spektrum's
