Since the non- stop raining weather on the first week of May,the FEMCA on road GP event couldn’t complete in Hong Kong but had to be postponed to Indonesia in June.And the drivers from other asia countries will race in Jakata instead.
Then the organizer “Hong Kong Model Car Association” decided to run a re-race & selection for Hong Kong drivers only as “2014 Hong Kong On Road GP Championship”.on May,25th.
Predicted it was rainning again on the weekend but luckily rain stop in the very early morning,so the race could start at 10:00am.
Three qualify for each 1/10 and 1/8 categories was run for 5 mins each heat, 4 heats for each class around 70 drivers in total.
As we can see 2012 IFMAR 1/10 GP world championship A main finalist KM drivers Hang took all the lead in both class and double the TQ by his H-K1 and K8,and on 1/10 class he was the only driver made under 20sec per lap.
For 30 mins finals on 1/10,Hang lead away from beginning until the end,and which made him 3 laps ahead of the 2nd driver.
Congratulation to the top two 1/10 GP drivers Hang(KM) and Fai Ho(Serpent) ,they were selected and will be sponsored by Hong Kong Model Car Association(registration,hotel & flight ticket) to attend the 2014 IFMAR 1/10 GP world championship in Thailand!
