Hey guys I've tried 6amp .03 cut oof 6amp repeak .02 cut off. Can't get more than 353 sec. at 30amp or more than 6.33v ave. disch. resistance is low, but I have no idea what to do. Pack has about 4 runs 1 cycle on turbo 30. Any suggestions. I've got a zapper,but I'm thinking it might be too soon to to that. It's a trinity pack so I'm a little uneasy about it. Any ifo. would be greatly appreciated!!!!--Al

Don't cycle the packs. Run them at least 4 times before you cycle them.

I totally agree with you, I've used their batteries before. Good prices and good cells. The track we had in Yuma AZ ran a point series and items that we could pick from were batteries and motors from Promatch. Think I had about 7 of his packs and was very happy. The only reason I went with the Trinitys was because I just made a rather large order from Tower and was trying to keep it all together. I've ordered all kinds of other junk no so it didnt really matter in the end though, probably should have just gotten his batts again. I only ordered 3 though, will need plenty more. Plan on driving out from Yuma (when I get back home) and running at SoCal once a month hopefully.

Well,I've done a little more work on these batts. I finally got a ave disc. of 6.88v @ 20 amps and relative resistance of 159. Assuming these #'s stay this would definitely be the best pack I've ever owned. We'll have too see. I tried charging from 4-6.5 amps and found the best overall to be 5 amps .03 threshold and .02 repeak. How high of a peak voltage are you guys getting? Mine seems to peak aroud 9.06-9.12. Seems low,but I've only used nicads until this pack. Let me know. Thanks--Al

i have one pack from world class and one from trinity and after 2 runs on the track i cycled them. I always charge at 5 amps w/ a .02 peak detect and .01 on re-peak, discharge at 20 amps w/ a 5.4v cutoof

Can someone please tell me what is relative internal resistance? I have a home-made battery tester which gives the resistance out in mOhm, but how can I compary that to this relative number?

Hey guys,Ihear that the 3300 don't last as long as umh or hv.What I mean by last as long is(they will not put miles on like the umh or hv).Kinda like buying a Chevy over a ford.I hope you guys see what I mean?

I would like to know where you came up with this one as the 3300 battery has only been on the market for a month or 2 now so how can you say that they dont last as long as UMH's and HV's that have been on the market for a year already. I dont see how there has been enough time to make this kind of statement.

I have two packs, been running them weekly for about 8-9 weeks now.
The runtime is down to 540sec at 20A, from 610. The IR is still super low, around 19-19.5mOhm's, and the voltage is the same at 7.07-9.
90% of these runs were in mod sedan, 8-9T on carpet with foams. Some 19 sedan, offroad, etc. I never ran them within 4-5 hours of the last run, 5A chg, .02 detect, discharge to 6v after the run, never trayed, no bench cycling. They were built, ran a couple times, cycled for #'s, then ran on the track for 8weeks. The cycled to again to check on them. I could feel the lack of runtime on the track.....began feeling soft like the Ultras did toward the end of the run.
For comparison, 2 packs of Ultras that were new at the same time, Have gone from 540+ packs, to 515-20. Voltage and IR the same. Treated the same as the GP's, with similar amouts of track time.
Hopefully the final production cells with the rainbow shrink will be more robust.
