Serpent have said from the beginning that the new diffs would be available for 748 owners with 747 diffs at a reduced price - they haven't announced what this will be. The new diffs are smaller and lighter than the 747 diffs and I believe are based loosely on the SRX2 geardiff. I'll be at the worlds with my 748 and hope to see the new diffs there - even run them! They will also be releasing a new compact/smaller 2-speed after the worlds as well.

Yeah it's pretty good and it's only the beginning with this car. It's got potential to be way better too as we start to understand the new setup options on the front end...

Mainly the different ackerman settings on the steering blocks and new steering centre link as well as the steering block leading / laging caster. Have a look at the serpent website there is clear info there

What is the feedback on 748 regarding: easy to drive and set up, easy to work on?
Does the kit needs much upgrades to be competitive?
I am closing down on choosing a new kit and almost set on the Serpernt. Can any of you that run both give me the ups and downs regarding the Shepherd V10 Pro?
Thank you for help

Just got back from the worlds and my 748 performed fantastically well. Together with the unparalleled support from Michael Salven himself it was a great race for Team Serpent. It was a shame that Greiner didn't win the WC. He was certainly quick enough and put in the fastest lap of the final but a couple of unfortunate engine cuts cost him the win. The car was quick and consistent all week on the ever changing surface.
Serpent have definitely got the 748 right!!
