R1 Wurks brushless motors

No. I barely believe they went to the moon. I like hw. I added lol. Just saying my castle x made the super noisy motor with xyz esc run about silent. I did not want to change the esc! I did an experiment. Those are my results. Loud to very quite. For fun https://youtu.be/orqKHKstdU8

Almost silent with mamba x https://youtu.be/-SMJ6KLdFpI. noisy with xyz esc https://youtu.be/Dbbt9SohLm0. The noises are beeps bells whistles cricket type at below 1/2 throttle.(armature vibrating/ cavatating /being a speaker.) It ran cooler with mamba too. But whatever. And for fun. What I am. https://youtu.be/tDl3bdE3YQA

Fantom aluminum motor screws work just fine on my V16 motors. Noticeable increase on the dyno.

Hello, I have some questions and forgive me I'm still learning the ropes of getting the motor geared right.
I got my new R1 V16 motor Monday. Ran it Wed for our club race and it felt really flat vs My D4 motor.
The gearing with the D4 motor is:
b6 2.6 gearing
30/72
R1 V16
30/72
and
29/72
28/72
the 28/72 seem to get give the best results, but I was way off the pace with this gearing vs the D4
So with this info that was given to me what would be a better gearing to get me back on pace.
With out hurting the motor.
Thank you for your time.

Timing seems way low! I run 53 degrees internal in 17.5 TC and nearly 50 internal in 1/12. The motors wake way up once you get around 48 internal or so.
I'd start at 48 internal and try it, check temps, make sure its geared good and see how you like it. Add timing if need be as you test. Test around 2 minute intervals to make sure temps are under control. Make sure you run a fan.
Also, these things rev like crazy, don't be afraid to increase timing and drop another tooth or so on the pinion.

With this print out that you see tells you that the timing is way to low.. Cool I'll put it on my motor testing and get the timing up.
I was doing my data logging on my Tekin esc and it was low like 123 if remember right geared at 30/72
When I dropped it to 28/72 I got it up to 143.
What is a good amp draw or sweet spot for the v16 as a base?
Looks like my Rotor is near the 1650 TORQUE TUNED ROTOR.
Up the timing and drop to 27/72 gearing puts my FDR 6.93, I may have to go to a 26/72 W/ FDR 7.2 man this will be crazy.
Thank sir I can't wait to get home to change the timing.

Is this motor analyzer the only thing I need to dyno test/tune these motors like you guys are?
