Default battery consumption

I am getting a spetrum M8 tomorrow. I am very conerned about the battery consumption as I read some articles that the RX receiver consumed higher than the normal FM receiver. I am using the 800mah AAA battery and i doubt if it could last for 45 mins. My servos are KO2173 analogue, can someone tell ?

thanks,

I have had nothing but problems with 3 different Spectrum systems I have tried. 2 have been with a 3PK (2 different ones) and 1 was with a Spectrum transmitter. So far I would have to say "junk" but I will send them back and see what happens. The only people who seem to not have problems are the ones using an M8.

Mine works fine with my JR R1 radio.. in my nitro car and in both of my electric touring cars... I couldn't be happier with their performance

I think the spectrum is the way 2 go in the future, but as of now, the responce is VERY slow compared with the stock setup of the radios. It might work well in offroad, but in onroad it kinda sucks right now 4 me.

My experience has been the opposite. The spektrum seems much faster than the stock radio in both off and on road.

the hrs is faster and smoother, when turning from right to left.
i have tested the spectrum and it wase not ase smooth like the 3pk hrs module.
have send my spectrum back to them ,more then a week ago, stil no reply from them.
it is not a good thing to loose contact with your car at high speed,at entering a corner.
this is not a cheap car,i dont whant things get broken on my car by ussing the spectrum that dont work wright,so i hope they wil solve the problerm?
