Hi

First impression is fantastic , super easy to drive. My car was a little understeering all weekend (race 1 in danish championship , 3 place) , but with very little test before , car was build thursday evening and it rained all friday , and half saturday , im very happy with the car. I was very impressed with the tyre wear. 6mm on rear outer tyre over the hold final , 30 min final. Was running 37/40 tyre.

At the race the car weigth in at 1705g , empty tank , and blank rims. Small Sanwa ERG971 servos , and Nimh reciever akkus. Normal SRS body.

How has the fuel tank mounts changed? It still looks like rubber grommets through the radio tray? Also am I right in thinking for the new middle shaft mount you will require the 2014 chassis?

There are still rubber grummets , but also a o-ring between screw head and rubber grummets.

There are milled in the chassis where the middle shaft mount is placed. I dont know if the holes are in the same place

Dear Johnsen, thanks for all information... one question more, why did you choose the reds engine ? Did you use it on last race ? what are the impressions ? Is it easy to break-in and find a good adjustment ?
Since 2011 I´m using novarossi engines only and now there are a lot of people using this reds engine...

waiting your feedback.

thanks

Hi

Well first of all I didnt race nitro last season and the season before I broke my last Engine at the last race , so new Engine. I chose the Reds because of 3 main things. The Nordic Reds importer is a old good friend , my new sponsor is dealing with him and the last thing , the Reds is 2/3 Price of a Nova. I felt it was quite easy to run in. Lots of power. I had my 2 gear set to early at the main this weekend , changed after 2 metres , and still the Engine pulled Hard at Low rpm.
