Tekin rx8 gen2 should be your primary choice. It is a much better esc than castle. I've had both and the Tekin is far smoother, more tunable and has the ability to run 7.4v BEC so you can use HV servos which is really handy in 1/8th cars.

Thank you very much for advice
When I look at the rx8 gen2 I see only truggy/ buggy
And what KV ?

Sorry for all the questions I'm trying to read as much as I can
Also

So far for this build I have the
Serpent GTe
And futaba 4pks r
I'm not saying budget isn't an issue but
I wanna also make sure I'm get the right quality stuff

Quickly search on these Tekin combos $330-350
Is well with in budget for this build

And do i need ?(should I get)
Something like the Futaba S9352HV
As far as steering servo?

Guys, maybe slightly off topic but maybe someone can help, have been active on off road for some time now but going to join our club race here locally, seen many if the fast guys all using orca or hobbywing esc combos.. But unfortunately I dun have either one.

What I have currently on hand is tekin rspro with 13.5 gen2 motor and it allows us to run boost and turbo. However, been looking around tekin and they do not have a setup for this on or for on road race.

Thus, was hoping anyone here still uses or have used rspro on a touring car before, any feedback or any setup which I can follow so as not to burn out the motor or the esc..

Any comments will be a great help to me..

Cheers!

Yep that'll do!! The 2250kv motor is a good option as well.
