That carpet is what they are using now in Europe. I got an email this morning from the ETS series that gave the supplier for it so people know where to get it. Its not the same carpet that is at the Hudy arena. It is the same carpet that was used in Italy at the Xray Challenge race the first of the year though.

It appears that its the kind of carpet they will be racing on in the future though in Europe.

Do you know how strong this carpet is? I just know the grey carpet they did use before did get full of rifts very fast.

Thanks Doug for the link.

As for the carpet, who is the mfg? Is this something we in the states need to be aware of?

Carpet costs enough just freighting it from Rome, NY. I'd imagine it would be 2-3 times that cost to get it across an ocean and then across the country. And even then you'd be racing on carpet that few if anyone else in the US is on.

Copied from AME's Facebook page;

Information from Uwe Rheinard. ETS organizer.
Since the carpet and the barriers was the best and the nicest track I probably ever visited during my 25+ years of racing, I wanted to share this information. The more and better tracks and facilities we have out there, the better it is for the sport and the more fun we will have. So if in doubt for your next carpet or track barriers (first carpet please as you can't drive without it) here are the information where you can purchase them.

Thanks to ETS for publishing this information for all clubs and race organizations to help improve our sport. Not many would have done this. Way to go Uwe!

Btw, the barriers for the EOS in Berlin, came from the same company, so all Off-road racers and organizers can benefit from these as well.

The only surprising one for me, is the Serpent.
A year or two back they had quite a few cars, but almost everyone I know that had one has moved onto something else.
