Kyosho 12th scale Plazma LM
Looks like Kyosho is trying to shake up the 12th scale market with this new offering:

Looks really cool. Not sure it will take off in the US but the Toyota body is spot on!!

for the price, it looks really good! bet some people were wishing for a carbon chassis, but it slots nicely between the tamiya rm01, and the rm01x kits. tad bit more than the standard rm01 (which is not nearly as nicely equipped as this) ...and the rm01x (which is better equipped)

Thanks for the additional heads up. The good thing about the additional length is that it gives you room for regular electronics so you are not forced to buy mini/micro stuff. Also, I like the fact that it can accomodate 6 cell NiMH or 2 cell LiPo packs. So, this class of car is not limited to 1 cell LiPo with a boost module. It opens it up to possibly running a 21.5 or 17.5 class with 13.5 being the start point for being considered Mod. Once I get mine and get it up and running, I will try both 21.5 and 17.5 for lap time comparisons.
