I was wanting to use the included spur. And I used to race with mod 1. I usually call the motor manufacturer to get gearing. I tried something new

To gear a 17.5 properly for racing you will need a 75 tooth spur.

Wishful thinking. The buggy didn't and I'd bet neither does this. Pony up for the spur or add timing and run mod.

Spur gears are about $6 here, not terribly costly. It's standard that you'd need to buy a spur to run gearing for 17.5t

I noticed in the description they make it a point to say this is the rm version so im thinking there will be a mm option in the future. I could be wrong though.

I emailed DeSoto racing yesterday, they got back right away and said the kits are about a week and a half out. Not sure if anyone can get the kits before them.
