Congrats to Ron C and Daniel Guzowski for taking both 1/8th and 1/10th scale wins. Wins were taken by mugen cars.

The guy who TQ'ed ( Jimmy J. ) doesn't race 1/8TH that much he is an electric racer, this is probably his second or third on road 1/8TH race ever.
Very impressive performance.

Default ROAR Prez and Scott Bell and RAMites

Rick, we are glad you supported us by attending the race - it was a pleasure seeing my Revelations Buddies.

I would like to add a HUGE thank you to Ron Lau. Always there - on top of everything. He does more than ten of us combined! Rick Yoder - excellent sound. Brin Foskett - great job on Trophies - you set a new standard. Lee Henderson (sp?), RCCAR, thanks for the use of your trailer - and your support. Eric York - fun layout and lastly the Drummer Family: For the last 5 years, you have dragged that damn trailer to the track - at a Gawd awful AM time - thank you, guys.

Good job gang!

Default My "2005 ROAR Region 12 Championships"

My "2005 ROAR Region 12 Championships", by Jason Baumbach was just posted on Mike Myers Starting Grid Magazine. It is a fresh look at a race by a relative "new-comer". Jason raced as a "sportsman" last year at the RAMS. It is great reading:

There will be many cool things happening for racer's at this weekends Katrina benefit race bodies have been donated for raffle by www.kolorsbykropy.com one 1/8TH scale protoform and one sedan protoform all proceeds will go to the relief fund for those who are less fortunate as us.
Just think one day we might be looking to them for help.
