The track has been completely gone over. The Driver stand is 42 feet long and it's completely covered. The new administration went all out and invested in brand new sound system as well as new scoring system and laptop dedicated only for races. There is a lot of interest from all racers here and this year should be awesome.

Nice Fixup
Where is the track located? I've only been to P.R. twice and arrived via green parachute on Vieques 'in the 60s'.

The track is located in Barceloneta, PR. Raced on it a couple of times. It is a large and impressive track for sure. My first series of practice laps on it took almost 30 seconds to make a lap (to show you the size of it). Once I got the hang of the track, I was able to shave 5 seconds per lap off my lap times on average. You need engine to run it but car/diff setup and finding that sweet-spot driving line is the name of the game there. The racers are a great group of guys to race and hang with and the people that set up their track-side eateries are the bomb (especially the guy that cooks the chicken). It is definitely a place to put on a r/c racing bucket list.
