Smile XXX REAR PIN BRACES

Looking for a solution to breaking the plastic rear pin brace on an XXX (A4136)

Will the steel versions from the XXXBK (A4138) or the CR (A4139) fit?

Or, is there an aftermarket solution?

Thanks

Figured it out...I think!

The next generation BK version had updated parts and still used the same pivot block.

The Original XXX had a different pivot width than the CR did. You can still find the nice trinity aluminum pivots for the xxx on ebay for good prices. You want the 2 degree, not the 0 degree. They have the same toe-in, the difference is built in anti-squat.

The Bk2 used an entirely different pivot, t-plate and gearbox. None of it is compatible.

Maybe what I looked at wasn't a BK2. It was the XXX Kinwald edition. The pivot block is the same # as the original XXX so it'd have to have the same spacing, right?

Looking at the parts explosion they thru bolted the pivot block and changed the material of the hinge pin brace to metal. I think the gearbox halves are the same #'s, too.

Yes. There is an XXX Kinwald edition that has the same configuration as the orignial XXX.
