Race report
Hey all, I just got back from the Region 12 ROAR Onroad carpet regionals where my Thunder powered ride qualified 2nd in expert stock and 6th in 19turn. After all was said and done Thunder RC walked away with 1st place in Stock and 3rd in 19t. Even though we were 'forced' to used the now antiquated 3300s I had tons of power through the end of every run, never dumped once (or even came close for that matter). The new 3800s I ran in practice were absolutely mind boggling. These cells are the real deal folks!!!

We are headed up to the Gate this weekend for the halloween classic.
Should be a good warm up for the Indoor Champs in cleveland next month
We are also having our region 3 race at our local track the 2nd week of november. Should be a good rivalry between Thunder RC, EA Motorsports, and Express Motorsports all in one Region Race

Just got back from the ROAR region 9 onroad championships...first time to run on asphalt. A fellow ThunderRC powered driver Chris Adams finished up 6th in stock TC behind some fully sponsored drivers; i finished a respectable 5th in the B main in stock TC.
My ThunderRC powered stock 12L4 finished 4th overall, which I was very pleased with as this was my first time to ever race a 1/12 scale.
Also in 19T 4cell oval, yours truly got to take home a little hardware with a 3rd place finish.
ThunderRC had a good showing down in San Antonio, TX for the ROAR Region 9 Onroad Championships....we never had to worry about dumping at all...

Well we had a blast at the Halloween Classic this weekend. If you didn't make the race this year you should have. Chicky, hermann, and Chris really did a great job.
Thunder RC didn't do too bad.
I finished 5th in 12th stock A-main with some tough competition.
Tortorice finished a place or two behind me in the A as well.
In touring myself and sobottka had a rough weekend. Couldn't get a handle on the cars. he finished 2nd in the B in stock and I finished 2nd in the B in 19 turn.
Oh and before I forget Matt Bean finished 2nd in the B main in stock 12th as well. He really picked up 12th pretty well by the end of the weekend. We'll make him a 12th driver yet LMAO

Hey Mike-
Was watching was was going on this weekend at the gate, from what I could see on qualifying sheets 12th looked good.
Ran this weekend had plenty of rip set fast lap of the day, just couldn't seem to put it all together. One fast lap one ok lap. Was running 3rd fin the main for about the first 30-45 seconds right on 2nd place bumper and bam. Hit the big pink post LOL. We have a support beam in the center of the track thats pink. Always a tight corner there. Anyway eveyone went by just could not catch up.
F-brush is definatly the way to go, packs still have plenty of rip.
Hope to see ya Dec 4th at IRP for the Hurricane race.
