Question, what are you guys doing to get the hubs to fit on the rear axle of a 10th scale pan car for rubber tire usage?

Drilling out the right height adjusters with a 10mm bit and running flanged bearings.

I should have the rules finished up tonight. Just making a couple small tweaks and rounding up some links for bodies.

I will then fwd them to Rob and they will be posted on the USVTA website by the end of the weekend I imagine.

The rules look good! We might want to stretch the wheelbase to 280mm max, as that's what the spec for the SP LM1 is.

I'm disappointed with the rubber tires, but I realize I'm probably the only one.

The 21.5/17.5 motor spec is a great idea. There may be other series that do this, but I've never seen it stated it in a national rules package.

I realize that the body list is only recommended, but it might not hurt to include the manufacturer's names so we don't end up the "who makes this?" weekly posts here.

hopefully the rubber tire of choice is decent and CHEAP and comes sooner rather then later. I hope the plan is not to run F103 rubber, I don't think they have announced a Speed Passion rubber tire yet right?

Rubber tire is listed as a 'future' requirement. Rob and I are well aware of the lack of a rubber tire at this time. If you notice all the wheel and tire specs are listed as TBA. SP is working on a rubber tire and we have made inquiries with other tire mfr's about a possible wheel tire combo for the class and the SP LM-1 in particular.

No problem Nick,

Howard,

I measured my SP car which was how I came up with the max wheelbase. I'll double check with SP and my car again and adjust the rule if necessary.

I agree with howard...the rules are very good. Rubber tires will come in time, although they probably will be slicks unless someone comes up with a really high quality rain tire for 10th scale
