Questions?? 17.5

I am disappointed that there is no 17.5 class, is this a sign 17.5 is going away???

I don't think 17.5 is going away anytime soon. If you look at the other big races around the country they have a very strong car count. However, the organizers chose to go with 13.5 instead of 17.5 for this year.

I am very honored to again be part of the RTCROC. We have all worked very hard to put all the pieces together to bring this back to the Tamiya Raceway and we will do everything we can to make it the exciting and prestigious event it is.

As Sean has said, we will be doing tire testing over the coming weeks to see what will work best for the event and we will let everyone know as soon as it has been decided.

17.5 is not going away, we just felt 13.5 was the appropriate motor for the class.

MARTIN CRISP: You owned the KINK! Hope you are doing well.

More info will be coming out over the next couple of weeks and as you can see from the time line we have posted, we will do the lottery drawing so that everyone will have plenty of time to book flights and hotels. We are also trying to get the best deals we can at hotels in the area, but just so you know. there are not many $79 hotels in this area.

I look forward to bringing the RR back to Tamiya where we have great memories of wonderful races and Mike sitting in his spot enjoying the show.

If you have any questions at all, it is always best to email me as with my travels I dont always get a chance to get on RCTech.

I look forward to seeing many of you for the 2014 Reedy Race of Champions.

Thanks,
Scotty

Best memories at Reedy:

1 - Pavidas hits the kink does a 360 and sticks the landing
2 - Masami drives with his feet
3 - The nine lives of a stinkbug on the sweeper; Hodge runs over it on #9

Look forward to this years return.

Thanks to Scotty, Sean, Rick and everyone else involved for their work in helping to revive this event. Can't wait to head back to Tamiya, it's been too long!

LOL. Well if owned means that I paid for it with a lot of destroyed cars...then yes . Hey Scotty...doing very well...thanks for asking. Glad to see you involved with this important race! Hope you are well.

Cheers.
