I knew my car was toast with an impact like that. To my surprise, I only lost a body clip. This mishap cost me 1 minute and 40 seconds to get my car up and running again. By the time I got back out I was 2 laps down and in 5th place. I raced my A$$ off and regained the lead by lap 111. I kept the lead from there on and won the race with a 2 lap lead over the nearest competitor.

The 960 served me well and I can't wait for the Texas Biggie in May. Go Serpent!!!

Thanks,
Kirk

NEW SERPENT WHEELS

Hi Guys,

Serpent has develop a new wheel. We tested last weekend at Kissimmee with awesome results. I TQ and won the race. They provide a lot more traction. I tested back to back with the previous one, and i was able to be faster and more comsistent (same rubber). They are lighter, so less rotation mass and faster acceleration.
They are already available mounted on Jaco rubber. Ask your LHS for this new product

Thanks Paolo!

Any chance the Serpent Team will be able to make to the BIGGIE this year?

Also, I noticed in the pics of your car and the new tires(nice by-the-way) you have a different pressure nipple on your gas tank than what comes with car. I really like that idea. Where can I get one of those?

Thanks!

The fuel tank pressure fitting is Serpent part #1434 and should be available from any Serpent dealer.

This fitting allows a smaller cutout in the body and does not get pinched and pulled while racing or fueling.

Hey Chris look @ my Serpent 960 still working on it. I ordered some parts but those online R/C store are slow with my electric. But my JP R-3engine and pipe will be here Saturday. JGO got back to me with the details about the paint works. I email him with my order, but no word yet …

Very good. I see you have some of the hop-ups on the car already. Looks like your a couple hours away from hitting the track. If you have any questions, you know where to find me.

Jeremy is a little busy at the moment. I am sure he will answer you very soon.
