Drop a little loctite on the spool before putting the new gear on. That should prevent this from happening.

ok thank you,but i did'nt find any shop for the price(mushroom and ace hardware have not got this part)

i just dismounted the rear of my 960 and i saw another problem...i hope it's the last time i'll have probleme with this car

look the 2nd gear,in the center where the bearing is placed it misses matter

ha nefastseven did ether one of the bearing go bad on that gear ?

Unless I am mistaken, I think that is just excess flashing from the molding process, that can be trimmed away, and has no effect on the bearing placement. I have run across it on a couple gears and just trimmed it with an hobby knife and it worked just fine.

nefastseven as long as the flange bearing holds in place and the back bearing surface is not damage then you will not have a problem. with those two things good the gear will run true on the shaft.

anyone knows the price for the Pulley Solid axle 51T Fast ? #903198

because i found the price for the normal pulley which is in the kit(approximately 10$) but not the other

SER 903198 Pully 51T solid rear axle List $12.95 Ashford $11.65

This part number has just been added by Serpent and we Ashford don't expect them till later this week.
