Questions?? Talk me out of the Kyosho Inferno 1/8 scale Readyset?

I think I'm going to give 1/8th scale on road a try.
I want a RTR car, I like the Corvette bodied one.
The cost is about 650 bucks.
I do not plan on racing, just parking lot bashing.
Is this a decent first car?
Any advice is very much appreciated.
I have not made up my mind yet,nitro/electric??

If you are ok with a different body, than this one is about 100 dollars less initially, then add one of the amain hobbies pop up coupons for 10% off.

Ya, I noticed the big difference in the body prices.
The Audi was the same price as the Vette, just crazy.
