If you are using the yokomo rear hub you should use +3 arm mounts in the rear. Rick runs, or has run, TC5 hubs with -3 arm mounts.

what exactly does thicker rear diff oil do to a car say 3000 versus 1000?

Thinner oil will let the car turn in better but does not accelerate off the corner as good. If you go too heavy in will not turn in and then will get loose when getting back to power.

How tight the track is and how much grip determine the oil range you want.

Oh ok. That would explain why I didn't see them on the Associated site. Thanks.

You could get the team associated blank pistons and drill them, its pretty easy. You would need a 1.1mm drill bit

I've drilled my pistons to a 3 hole on all four shocks and like it! Shocks feel more consistent

As mentioned you can buy the blank AE pistons and drill them. But most team drivers feel that Yokomo 1.1mm x 3 pistons are better than AE drilled.

So I'm running the Tc6.1, but I was wondering. Still trying to figure out my car, but it's so loose. I think it's the wrong tires(asking what kind we need currently), but still it should be decent.

Running #2 piston w/ 37.5wt all the way around, no idea what rate (springs are silver). Front end seems really god with plenty of steering and traction, but the rear end slides out easy, and seems to have little to no traction. Tried moving in the shocks 2 holes on the shock tower, helped but still was pretty bad.

Spool in the front, gear diff in the rear. I only have 3000wt oil, should I run that or keep whats in it(no idea whats in it), or what shock oil should I have (got 25-37.5, and 80wt).

Was trying 28sweeps "stiff" wheel, and no gusta.

Thanks in advance.
