Hi there,

It's available in Japan and Taiwan. I got my EVOLVA20005 on 6/23(first batch in Taiwan), but I am still working on it. However, my friend has finished it and made some runs. He felt the car is very aggressive in corner campared to his old S950R with very good handling.

That is good to know because I have a 950R right now also. Does he get faster laptimes?

Yep, indeed.
0.7 sec faster than his old S950R per lap averagely. He uses the same power system 321P Tuned+MAX PIPE on S950R.

Thank you very much for the info. If possible please ask your friend what surface he is running on and how far from the stock setup is he.

Thank you very much.

John,

spares for the Serpent and Mugen are much easier to come by than the Kyosho. You should take that into consideration before "upgrading". You'd be hard pressed to break something for a Serpent or Mugen that Gary does not have at the track. My 2 cents.

Hey Corey,

Actually Gary is now supporting the Evolva 2005. Kyosho USA looks like they have their act together...Mine will debut on the race of the 16th! If I get it finished in time!

looks like a good move then. It's always nice to have a variety of manufacturer's car's running together!

I don't see the huge value in the new car.

**Adjustable belt tension front and rear. Nice, but you have to tear the whole car apart to change it.

**New brake arm.

**New gear ratios. Some say new pulleys but the way I read it, there is new gears and it sounds like they are stronger maybe.

**New bulkheads that give you a 2 position wheelbase adjustment. It says width can be adjusted 3mm but I think they really mean length.

**New front upper a-arm mounts that change the geometry somehow.

**New fuel cap similar to Serpent's AFL cap. I run a chamber and have never had a problem.

Again, I don't see anything super spectacular on this car from mine, do you?

One thing this car has that I wish my MRX-4 had.... a fuel tank that can be removed without taking the top chassis plate off. Nice for cleaning!
