We have seen it at Charity race in Italy, a very nice held by RCLandia guys and with the money used for childrens hospitals and schools.
I've seen it for few seconds and can resume as follows:
- chassis shaped close to Italian RC
- the front was full carbon+alu, XRay quality. Lower arms shaped like F104 and upper arms, if I'm not wrong, like A arms
- All materials look XRay quality
I guess all angles are adjustable, and the car was doing pretty well coming up to a second place.
I'm a "blue" man, but this car is really interesting.
If it's as sturdy as most of XRay cars, could be my next purchase.
As it was not much "protected" I think it's coming soon....

How many manuf's are out there (tamiya, vbc, yokomo, serpent)?
Also, what would be over priced?

Hm, that's a good list, but which ones are actually worth getting and you don't need to dump more $$ into after purchase to be really "competitive" and reliable? Also, which are easy to get here in the U.S.?

All the ones mentioned are full blown kits. 3racing also makes after-market chassis hop-up kits for some of the cars on the list. All are pretty viable as competitive kits and it depends on what is being run in the area where you race.
As far as price, Tamiya had been the standard-bearer with pricing of most of their F1 kits being less than $180.00. Once Kyosho, TOP, and some others jumped into the fray, the pricing of the kits have almost doubled in some cases. Even Tamiya jumped into the pricing game with the TRF101 kits and high-end carbon update kits to their F104. Just like 10th and 12th scale pan cars, a simple design 2wd pan car should not be in the $300+ price range (my first Tamiya F1 car was a F102 that was about $80.00 with a brushed 540 silvercan {which I still have}).

What's the problem with another manufacturer joining the F1 market?
Nobody seems to complain when someone builds a new touring car or 1/8 buggy
Oh that's right, it's xray, and some people just feel the need to take every opportunity to have a dig at them for no real reason.

So far the F1 kits available today average about $300.00 per kit. A Tamiya TRF101 kit is $369.00 while a Speed Passion SP-1 kit is $179.00.
