what are the best 10.5 motor options today (for a 1/12 and 1/10 pan car)?

I run Trackstar, Speedpassion and LRP 10.5 motors in 1Cell 12th and 10th scale touring, and well TBH, there is very little between them and Orion, Ready and Thunderpower 10.5's that other guys are running. Pretty much just pick a brand you like and run them.

I've had better results with the latest Reedy over the Speed Passion motor in 12th.

You should check out ORCA. Their other motors performed very well at IIC. I would suspect the 10.5 is just as quick.

I've heard about ORCA recently, I'll take a look at them!

in off road I only use reedy sonic motors because the power delivery is so smooth but I was wondering if the needs are the same in 1/12 considering the added grip in onroad

what about orion vst2 or GM motors?

I really like the feel of the VST2 motor from Team Orion. It has a lot of torque which you need with 1S classes (blinky for sure) these day's

Are you spec racing with this?

If so, from what I have experienced, you currently can't beat the D3.5. Close seconds include Killshot, Reedys, Thunder Powers, and ORCA.
