I just started...I only raced there once when it was an Oval track. Now it's a road course.

Did you ever race the MTX3 there?

Also, what's different between a turbo pipe and a standard pipe, and why are some turbo pipes illegal? Sorry, used to the offroad stuff, so I haven't really gotten much experience with turbo stuff.

BTW, if the stinger is the same on that .15 pipe as it is the .12 turbo pipe, it's probably 5mm. Then again, like I said, I don't know much about the onroad stuff.
Diameter of the stinger hole dictates whats legal or not, here's the part number for a pipe that is legal and fast (NOV52624)

yup I have a MTX3 and when I raced there once I was the ONLY one there with one. Unfortunately I was late a few weekends ago and missed registration during the road course track.

Do you know if there is anyone else with a MTX3? I was going to sell mine because there was no local support that I knew off. If you do PLEASE let me know.

What did you use to race before the MTX3? Have you figured out which shore foams you'll be using? From what I remember it's pretty low bite and very unforgiving walls.

I plan on being there Sat...I may have to register early and come later...so I won't have any practice time

I live in Columbia...I plan on practicing in a parking lot by my place tonight...I saw a 414 run in Glen Burnie about a month ago when HTUSA had switched to road couse. From what I remember it was pretty fast. Did you have a one-way? Do many people run the 414? IF not maybe that was you.

Anyways...have you noticed in the past few weekends if anyone else had a MTX-3?

I actually switched to a front diff because when I ran the Oval track it seemed pretty tight and the Road Course seems even tighter.

Nope never ran a MTX2...when it was the Oval Course I was the ONLY one there with a MTX3. I lost an outdrive and dogbone and had to search all over until I found them since they don't have spares there.

There are a lot of people running Turbo engines and NTC3s but I had no problem keeping up with them with just my MTX-3 and MT12 (non-turbo). My biggest problem was the front one-way because of the small track. Hopefully the front diff will help. You running the stock one-way?

I'm pretty new to the RC racing world...this year was the first time I really raced.

hmm...maybe if more people start running the MTX-3 locally it just might have to stay I REALLY don't want to give it up. I actually have a R40 on the way just because of parts support.
