Anyone remembers names of 'sacred cows' like: Monster Beetle, Fox, Salute, Javelin, Schumacher Cat XL (not the XLS version?), Delta Spider/Villain or RC12i?....

Hey! I'm thinking the I'm getting too old, we're talking of cars of 1984 - 1986. With those GE 1000Mah battery packs. 1200Mah were only for rich people.

my first 1/12 was RC12E. the kit tire last forever !! and it came with a sedan body which I painted it candy blue.
It has FRP chassis and round head screws. I needed to pay extra $ to the shop to make the chassis holes countersink for "option" flat head aluminium screws.

Yeah, that sounds about right. It seems like everyone has an MTX-3. How about you setups for Revleation everyone? Don't worry, I won't be a threat to any of you. Mine is:

Swaybar:
F: 25 degrees from horizontal
R: 2mm from full soft

Ackerman:
A

Caster
1 small shim behind the arm

Tires:
F:42
R:42
Mine setup is quite simmilar to yours 50K on the diff, but changed the 'A' ackermann for the 'B' one and run 40's and 3 degrees on the front wheels (sheeesh! have a set of 35's laying by here that seems that shouldn't use... 22 Euros to the trash! - too soft and makes the car too twitchy due to massive grip).

Made some changes to the gearing for my Rody 16/20 47/42, did some drilling to the exhaust (5.2mm ID) and voila! more Zoom for the backstraight (PS: Anyone knows some manufacturer that makes rear parachutes for the MTX3? )

Yep. Always well ahead of the competition in all aspects. Pity the got involved with the moving turds (1:5th scale). That nailed the coffin lid for them. We were the Northern Ireland BMT dealers for several years and they dominated here from 1989 right through till 1998.

The 3-speed gearbox wasn't all they said it would be. They forgot to mention you needed a runway to make effective use of it. lol.
