the protoform 15 is narrower in the front than the 13 and 14, but it still fits. i use the 14, dumper uses the 13.

The photo form rear wing is a direct bolt on, the front needs to be thinned down on the vertical part that slides into the front arm mount. don't force it in, or it will lift up the front of the arm mount. you will need to clearance the fit with a dremmel. it has a diamond shape that is a bit odd. you will see it when you have it in your hands.

I think the savox servos are a little bit taller, so you'll need to either get longer ball studs or run it standing up like I did

Hi Jacques,

I assume that we are talking about CRC parts; and, not something made by a different company.

So, please email directly to [email protected] for his help in identifying what CRC parts you need.

Brian is my lead contact at CRC. He is terrific with both parts and setups. And, he has won many major events in the US with his WTF-1.

Or...tell me and I will try helping you myself.

Also, CRC does accept PayPal.

Bill

Recently got a wtf1 16 for xmas. I bought a protoform 14 body and a tamiya f2012 wing set. The wing set seems to not fit the body (front wing middle section too high) what front wing fits the 1r protoform body??

I ended up taking off the uprights and just using the wing alone. I trimed off some of the material from the center channel and drilled a hole in it. Then just used a short body post and a flathead screw through the wing to get it working. If you go that route make sure you countersink your hole a bit so you dont drag that screw

Don't use the upper section of the wing, and for the body post just use the post and longer screw that comes with the body.

Default Need help with CRC F1 car

I am just getting back into the on road racing after years away from it. I bought a new CRC F1 car and I am trying to figure out where the front suspension mount shims need to go. I am using a protoform front wing and the wing is way to tall to fit under the suspension mount as shown. I assume that I will have to dremel the front wing but do I need to run both suspension mount shims? If so, where do they go? On top of the carbon fiber? Thanks in advance for any healp.
