Default How to install 3Racing Ball diff in M05?

As the title reads, how do I install a 3racing ball diff into my Tamiya M05?

The outdrives on the 3Racing diff are too big to fit through the provided outdrive holes in the chassis. The bearings on the 3Racing diff (provided the outdrives fit) are too big to fit into the grooves in the chassis...

Am I missing something painfully obvious?
