Default Lipo has no balance plug?

Hey guys I just got a 7.4 5000mah venom lipo off eBay. Well it came and it has no balance plug it is a hard case lipo an it looks like just inside there are tow wires where one may have been. Can anyone advise me on what. Can I open the hard case and solder a new one on? Thanks in advance.

Looks like ill have to. I haven't programmed my esc for lipo cut off and ill have no other way to monitor low voltage. Not to mention my onyx 235 will not charge unless a balance connector is attached.

Correct on the 235. It's a safety feature and a good one at that. My personal opinion is you should balance each time. It doesn't cost anything to do it. Adding a balance plug is not a huge deal. I had a receiver pack that did not have one. Just opened it up, took my time and soldered on a plug from an old battery. Worked like a champ.

Does it have a small hole between the 2 bullet connector holes? Some LiPo packs use a small bullet connector for the balance plug.

Yeah, a lot of Venom packs are like that.

For the OP, here is a pic of a bullet venom pack and the wiring harness for it:

No it does not have a bullet connector. When I add the plug what do I solder to a + and - to each cell? Also any tips on opening this case I tried a small screwdriver but that didn't work. Should I plan on getting a new case afterwords. (I forgot to mention its a hard case pack)

if you vulture a balance lead from another pack, red goes to the Large positive, black to the large negative, the other wire, blue, sometimes white, ect goes to the second cells positive. between the two cells.

We'll I have no other lipos but I found the plugs on eBay so I'm getting one from there. Anybody have tips on opening the case to this. It almost seems like a one piece case.
