Interesting, a little bit bigger than the screw used by Yokomo in their centre shaft. I wonder if the width is the same between the bulkheads on the Raceberry to the 418, because I can't see there being any reason, if it is the same, that you can't bolt up a 418 centre pulley and shaft into a Raceberry 417

Looks like a great weekend for the 418. I can't wait to get my hands on mine.

I just ordered the car, but i have to blame kentech for it. He's got a great write/build up on his blog
I just have to thank you for it, otherwise i would have missed out on this one.
Looking forward to the build and especially to drive it.

Well, I have gathered a stock of Tamiya and Square ti and alu screws from running TRF cars for 10 years now (418 is my 10th).

I guess easiest to get would be Tamiya screws (although not cheap they are good quality):

Ti:
53529 3x8mm Hex Socket Screw - 5pcs Titanium
53530 3x10mm Hex Socket Screw - 5pcs Titanium
53534 3x8mm Countersunk Hex Head Screw - 5pcs Titanium
53535 3x10mm Countersunk Hex Head Screw - 5pcs Titanium
53583 3x6mm Titan Socket Screw
53584 3x6mm Titan Countersunk Hex Screw

Alu:
53765 3x6mm Round Head Socket Screw / Blue (5pcs)
53766 3x8mm Round Head Socket Screw / Blue (5pcs)
53767 3x10mm Round Head Socket Screw / Blue (5pcs)
53771 3x6mm Countersunk Hex Head Screw / Blue (5pcs)
53772 3x8mm Countersunk Hex Head Screw / Blue (5pcs)
53773 3x10mm Countersunk Hex Head Screw / Blue (5pcs)

Or wait for Square to release a ti and alu screw set which I guess they would once the car is released in Japan.

Thank you very much!

And thank you for the great build pictures and detailed write-up.

I have mine on pre-order with a LHS but this looks like a steal! Do you know if it will come with the bonus parts?
