Any comparison between the Avid chassis and Schelle alum chassis.
Iirc, youtube has some good video on some aftermarket parts. I remember seeing chassis in some vids.

That's good to hear. I was going to pick this car up, but now I've seen the xray xb4 16' model. It's thrown me off, again. The D413 has parts back in the states.

I'm down to the D413 and xb4 at the moment. The maintenance on xb4 seems easiest.

I'm local to you and parts don't seem to be avail much except for Ae and tlr mostly. These seem the most popular at the local track. Do you track your tlr?

Hey guys, I'm looking into switching from my 44.3 to the D413 for next season and wondering what parts to carry on hand as lhs don't stock.
Will any of the 44 wheels mount to the HB?

The 443 wheels will work. Only few parts I need. Rear camber outer links, shock shafts, shock ends and front tower. You will really like this car. Ive had mine almost 2 years and best car Ive owned.

Hey thanks you.
I'm excited to get it and check it out. Always been interested in it but I just decided to race 4mod and 44.3 wasn't working for me. Should be here thursday and I'll tear into it..

I'm going to pick up a pack of AE ones that way I have a few extras instead of having to buy the package deal HB has just for the shock ends.
I like to have lots of spares since local never seems to carry what I need and I hate to ruin a weekend since I travel 3 hrs one way just to play..

That's my goal, to have a second rig and enough to build a 3rd. HB just don't have the support not to have lots of spares.
Seasons over up here and only practice I get is laying a temporary track out in a parking garage with wood ramps but any trigger therapy is worth it.

Unless you know the previous owner and there maintenance schedule, I'd say go new. Way to easy to spend 10 minutes making a buggy all clean and shiny on the outside to sell, but wouldn't spend 10 minutes changing fluids or replacing worn out parts....

Very good out of the box. I only recommend the Exotek steering rack and center diff cap with spur gear. As another option you can buy the d216 shock pistons so you dont have to drill a set of 2x1.6 and 2x1.7 pistons. If you run that setup. I like tge 12mm hexes so i picked up Avids set but not a must have.
