I believe it was only intended for the Avid chassis.

Hi Guys,

Need a favour - I race 4wd stock 17.5t in Australia its a reasonably popular class here. So weight is important. To compare the 4wd's on the market;

Could someone weigh there car - ideally as close to stock as possible with electronics and a shorty and body on.

Would be much appreciated? There is no prize for anyone who can post a reply the fastest. Thanks.

As Jeremy said, it is for the avid chassis... If you are not afraid to drill some holes in the chassis, you may be able to use it

Hey All..

Been away from driving for close to 6 months...I'm going to get back into it..As I'm reading backwards in the thread to get to where i left off last time i came onto the board.

What if anything new has everyone found out/ tips about the car over the past 6 months?

Thanks for the cheat sheet if there is one!

What's up guys, I'm wondering who has played with the caster blocks. Stock is 10 and I'm seeing 12 and 15 deg. Ones?. My only experience with changing caster was on my strr evo truggy. I changed from 20 to 22 and was huge difference in steering being able to turn tighter.

I have both 12.5 and 15 and will be trying them out tomorrow. I'll let you know how they worked.

Cool, you and I seem to think alike on set up either mbx7r or d413. I'm thinking 5 mellow with 12 degree caster make smooth and steer sharp in corners. I'll be looking forward to the follow up.

I'm running mostly on mid bite AstroTurf, does upgrading to aluminium chassis (like avid) makes the car handle better on AstroTurf.

Decided to give 10th scale one last shot. I remembered why I love this buggy so much. Loose 8th scale outdoor track and it handled it almost as good as my 8th scale. Was leading by nearly a lap in the final when I had electrical problems.

Questions??

I've snapped a front top brace, and my friend has too. Is there any aftermarket version other than this? I'll give the stock brace one more chance but if I smash it again I want to try something different

I've searched the thread but didn't find a response: what shock bottoms/eyelets can I use instead of the 2 included in HBS112792? (I already have way more than enough of the other shock parts included )

I run dual stage pistons, with the B5 shock caps so they don't pop off. I absolutely love the D413 it is way more durable than any other 1/10 4x4.
