The first batch to hit the US usually are not large and between Team Drivers and International Distributor orders there isn't any left. The 2nd wave of them should be available on Tower and else where shortly.

HPI cant force the distributors to place orders......this situation is a real bummer and is one of the major downsides of having exclusive contract with a major distributor.

I'm pretty sure the the alum caps are at HPI/Hot Bodies right now........As far as i know, Hobbico hasnt placed an order for these caps yet. The fact is we need to pressure Hobbico/Great Planes to order them.

a few pages back I posted a race report where I was griping about the fact that I could not get the car to steer around 180s and tight turns no matter what I did. Well today, I finally yanked that servo saver out and put a straight horn in ( I was running a glued servo saver) and WOW what a difference, ALL this time it was that goofey servo saver.
Needless to say, Won the main two days in a row now at Trackside. Tessman nats setup + straight servo horn = DIALED. (at least for a mid-high bite tight track like we have over at Trackside). This is going to sound harsh but; yank that silly servo saver out as soon as you build the kit, save yourself some setup headaches, you dont need it, its a tiny 1/10th scale not a 1/8th scale... and yes it makes a MASSIVE difference in steering response.
ps; the ONLY difference in my setup is im still running the stock springs, and my wheelbase is longer ..put the 2mm shims forward of the arm.. just to keep the car a bit easier to drive.

You can really use any servo horn. RB6 works, im sure the B5 with alu ring will work well. Racers edge have nice ones as well. Mines and intergy that I had in my box.
Measure the original one hole to hole and go browse, most servos have measurements to holes

What color was it? In all seriousness the servo saver works fine if you assemble it correctly and use little loctite. To say its absolutely not needed is a mistake and an assumption that everyone is using the same high quality servo. Other model 4 mods use them and there are no issues, just need to set them correctly like anything else...
