got mine built and electronics in. i must have gotten one of those out of round spurs in mine cause it defially is dragging in one spot. glad i got extras. maybe i can find a good one in there.

i tried to put durango hexes on it to no avail since i had lots of spare tires.

i mounted the esc up fron on one side and was able to fix the reciever behind the servo. one of the cleanest looking wiring i've done in a while. plenty of room over the dex410. lol

cant wait till i get it out on the track.

I also have one tight spot on my spur. I just set my mesh for that one spot.

for those are are replacing the front hinge pin with shock shaft. which ones are you using? is is there a better option than stock. better material or at least no little neck to break on the threads.

just broke my kit on maden voyage after a couple packs when i tangled with a 1/8 scale. not blaming the car. just curious if there is a better option.

Has anyone tried the xray xb4 hexes? I think I could mod either the xray or the durango hexes to fit.. I also have tons of durango wheels/tires.

With a 7.5 I have been running 24t on a pretty large indoor clay track and 26-27 on large 1/8 outdoor track.

Just a heads up the RS Pro needs two caps to run properly. Especially when used in a 4wd buggy. I only see one in your picture there.

News to me. I ran RS Pros on all my cars for some time and money they all had the single capacitor and all functioned properly. To top it off, my wheeler is a 410 which is one of the heaviest wheelers and I ran a VST Pro 5.5.

I've actually never seen an RS Pro with more than one capacitor.

i actually run a gen2 6.5 now but still running the RS Pro. The D413 is balistic, i run with 21T pinion and alot of timing on the esc... runs super fast and has loads of braking. Motor and esc temps are both at 70ºC with no fans after a 10min run. Motor overheat a bit with 20T pinion. Dont see the new for a 2nd cap.

I'm running a gen 2 6.5 rsx tekin combo and I'm geared at 25t. Zero timing. And ballastic. Temps are 160 motor 115 esc. How are people geared so different with this car. I started with a 21t and was way under geared

Yeah, many people don't know that. Randy from Tekin told me this long ago. I believe cooler temps was the primary reason. It's actually in the manual too if I remember correctly.

The V2 AE plastic shock caps I bought do not fit well. Are they supposed to be hard to thread on?

The v2 caps work but do no thread on as well as I would like. As for gearing I have 2 buggies and 1 has the orion r10 pro with a orion 7.5 running a 22 pinion and temps are around 120 on both and my other buggy has a r10.1 orion and a trinity d4 6.5 geared with a 24 pinion and temps are around 150 for the motor and 120 for the esc. I run on a medium size medium grip outdoor track.
