I do know that it is still early but I dont see other company stepping up to make hop up's and small add on's like chassis protectors and aluminum wing mounts. I would Proline,Jconcepts, exotact, and others would have stuff in the works already and at least on pre-order right ???

Default Body venting.

I carved out the front left side and rear of the body to get more air flow. I also added these cuts on top of the body. Has anyone else found good venting options. I am one step above blinky mode on timing inside the lrp esc and temps are a concern. I am still in break in mode so I will try running a 7 minute heat to see how it does.

scteonoffroad,

Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly, measurements are

11.78 mm long and 1.5mm thick ?

scteonoffroad,

Thanks for the help. What kind of temps have you been seeing on your motor ?

I have not ran a race yet or long practices. My esc is running around 130 and my motor was around 160

Those temps aren't bad at all.

What turn motor are you running, and what pinion?

Also, what type of conditions have you test driven your car in ?

Looks like timing inserts for a LRP motor.

Running a lrp 6.5 one step above blinky. I ran on a indoor rubber track and driveway.

Your good sofa king. This was my first lrp motor so that explains it. The bag must have been next to my d413 bags. Thanks for confirming.

Using Orion Race Esc blinky / Orion 7.5t with 21 pinion, temps was not an issue after 7 min. I moved to a 5.5t same pinion I thermal at 3-4min. Switched to a 19 pinion did the trick. Coming off at 135 every time.

I've never driven on a rubber track.

Just a personal experience with a Losi 8ight-E 2.0, I was testing different tires a few weeks ago on an outdoor track. First set was hookin up great, & motor temps were safe. I noticed the second set of tires did not bite as well, checked the temps, 238 degrees fehrenheit !!! Although the car was handling ok, I didn't realize how much I was over spinning the tires on the straights. Put the first set of tires back on, and reduced initial burst in the esc, & temps went below 180.

I didn't realize over spinning the tires would make the motor temps shoot up that high ! Just thought I'd mention it. Hope this helps some one. Food for thought, right ?

These might work if anyone is looking for wheel hex pin replacements on the D413.

I haven't received my D413 yet, but scteonoffroad took the measurements for me.
