GT8 Clutch Rule

The most common type of rules internationally is that centax are NOT legal. In fact most rules do not allow adjustable type clutch. Off Road clutch can handle the extra weight of these cars, something the centax type suffer from durability issues. With this I'm not saying that a centax can't be made to work but why go against most accepted rules.

Nothing is published, yet. I'm all aboard the Buku train. I got one a few weeks back and they are awesome. Luckily for GT engines and other cool after market parts don't make a huge difference but do add to the tunability of the car. I can just as easily change out clutch springs which I have done many times. The durability of the Buku is second to none, I'm sold. I'd leave it like the engine rule, its what evs Lets Race!

Back a hear and half ago, prior to the group getting the rules sent to ROAR (which still has done nothing with this class) there was a good discussion about the clutch and came down to a "Radial" clutch in that the shoe move out from the center to engage the bell housing.
So either the 3 or 4 shoe clutch that are in almost all off road kits or the Werks Power Clutch. I've not run the Buku clutch, but all they guys I've talked to really like it. I've got the power clutch but it does not work as well with the open engine rule. Does work on .21 med to low power very well.
