Where can I find bodies for the DM 1 spec. What will fit from other brands?

Ipanema Warrior fits any chassis, Alpha makes bodies that fit, OFNA has a few types, and Protoform. There are some Delta Plastics that fit. I use the Warrior body because it is extra strong has great performance and is made in USA.

For the DM-1 I normally run the OFNA DP-8 (McLaren) or the Alpha R3 from Desoto racing. The Warrior is another good choice as JNeg said. The last is the ProtoForm PF8.

The bodies that fit the Kyosho GT-1 work, but not for the longer GT-2.

I have been using the Warrior body too since mid 2010 (after the Ipanema GT Worlds in Homestead when I was introduced to it). It has been a very consistent body for me and has helped to get me to many GT A-mains over the years as well as many top five A-main finishes.

Dude, I hated that I had to miss out on this race as well. I missed trading places with you on the track like I did last year. We had some good runs together. I am planning on hitting this race next year for sure. If you are still running the Kyosho next year, got some car tips and tire R&D info to share with you that will help you our a lot.

You need to try out Alpha RC R3 body, ive seen lots of people going from Protoform to Alpha or from Ipanema to Alpha after track tests ...

The 1/7 DM-1 is the same car basically as the 1/8 DM-1 Spec. They use the same driveline components minus the center dogbones and chassis braces due to the longer chassis. Nitro House has plenty of spares and a few after market parts. I've been debating myself over the two and have decided to go with the 1/7 DM-1 for a brushless project. It's a more scale looking size to me IMO. DM-1 Spec looks short and out of proportion. Hope you're happy with the choice though. Where'd you buy the kits from btw?

Now, I spent the night looking for stuff to put on the 1/7 and found nothing interesting, may be I should exchange it for the 1/8... Is this worth it? help!!!
