By the end, both Hiroshi Kambiyashi (1st) and Alan Yau (2nd) used IB3800s and standard 8T motors for race. We don't see any sign of dump during the 5 min. race.

So bad, I didn't have chance to chat with you when I was in FEMCA, otherwise, I can gather more details what caused your problem.

actually is not dump for the cell is like the punch decrease about 20 to 25 percent until the end of the race it still have lot of juice on the cell. nvm we can meet on TITC race. i heard that the new batch of IB 3800 improve a lot and i plan to get some pack to try it. maybe my IB cell are old generation

We have been using and testing the IB3800s since late May and we have not experienced the decrease in punch with any IB3800s with the proper motor setup. The newest improvement to the IB cells has been available since early October and the major difference is that the cell provides a bit more power.

How many good runs you get out of these cells?

hmmm.... power= volts x amps

If the voltage of the cell increases and the amp draw from the esc and motor remains the same, the power they provide to the motor increases.

Might I suggest a 130- 135 degree cutoff,120 is a little to cold.

Woowww, I don't have that luck to be the brother of Derek or Cato (SR Battery) even we have the same family name.
