Interesting set up on the Kyosho. So does bump steer affect it opposite?

edseb: The way Josh explained it to me, that's exactly what it does. Should make the car more stable.

RobertV: My video editor needs to sleep, no more previews for awhile.

Glad you guys enjoyed the photos.

The other note I should add about the Kyosho car is that the first time the design was EVER run (in testing or otherwise) was during the first practice round here on Thursday. Josh and Paul got the parts for the car on Monday, built the cars on Tuesday and Wednesday and drove them for the first time on Thursday. They had to do some hand-fitting on some of the parts (hence the Dremel marks on the bulkhead, for example) to make it work, but it's amazing that they have been as competitive as they are with a car that has so little time on it.

Default kyosho car

actually if you look at the front of the chassis it looks a lot like the front of the chassis for the cefx12

Actually, this is the way the steering layout works on modern F1 cars (single seaters in general). So maybe there are some advantages..

The wheel hubs also look like Xray with large 15x10x4 bearings.

The obvious advantage is space. Huge gain of space with this system.
