try the eagle tyre warmers. Get them overseas and they should be just under $100 AUD. They have a digital readout and have adjustable temperatures front and rear

Any manufacturer tire warmers work fine. The more expensive ones have temp control.

Since you are online, you can visit some websites for best pricing. There are some online hobby shops in your part of the world, I know, I almost ordered some stuff from a shop in Sydney. Search the web, you'll find something.

Which is better for Tamiya Type T or Type R motors, the Stock Kit Gears and the Speedtuned Gear Set? Thanks

Shock Pistons?

In David Jun's setup, what pistons did he use 1 hole or 3 holes? Thanks.

If I remember what he did, I believe it was the three hole pistons. That was awhile ago. His article may still be in the Tamiya USA website.

If he's running 3000 weight diff oil, then he's running the stock "nail" pistons. This was probably before Tamiya released the teflon pistons.

Default F1 Racing in Southern California

Hi all, especially those here in CA--

Just a reminder that regular 2nd and 4th Tuesday racing is held at SoCal raceway; I think the 5-week month of March may have thrown some folks off the scent!

Next event will be April 27th; the racing evening starts at 7 PM. Hope to see the "regulars" and some new faces as well.

Terry V.
