Anyone know if there ever was a decal set for the 1994 Williams Renault Rothmans livery for F1. Or if anyone has any Rothmans decals that I can make work to make this car.

Thanks,
Larry

Try doing a google search for it. I came across some unique hobby shops that have liveries from different eras.

I also race at Speedworld in Roseville, Ca. We're trying to get a F201 class started. There's talk of F201 grand prix. Like everymonth we all go to different tracks to race for points.
Please let me know when you'll start this league.

Neil,
Thanks I will give that a try. Thanks also for your setup I will have to study it and see what I can adapt to carpet racing. Any further advice would be appreciated.

Thanks again and good luck in Japan.

Larry

PS when is the Japan race?

you want to make your ferrari like the one they used in 2001 Italian GP? the so-called "Black nose"?

here's a pic...

Neil, that was right after 9/11 and Ferrari did a cool thing by running no sponsors on their cars

I beleive it was a way for Ferrari to pay their respects to all the victoms of the 9/11 tradgedy.

I thaught that was very cool of Ferrari to do that tribute.

if you could generalize, what conditions would be best suited for each body?

thanks for the feedback.

... and seems like tamiya hasn't come out with anything new for the f201 in awhile either... now that the evo4 is out hopefully some attention will shift back towards the f201... i really hope they update the chassis to allow for side by side packs (don't care if its double deck, or carbon reinforced version of the current chassis!!)

revzalot

It kind of fizzled out. Initially, most of the F201 racers in the Bay Area were interested, but very few actually committed to race the series (pay an extra fee to race the series, which would pay for trophies, etc.) There are 10-12 regulars that race the class and typically some show up at most any venue in the Bay Area. RCCAR is racing 9/19 and we have a points series for F201. You should come out and race with us. It's too late in the season to have a shot a trophy, but you can see how we race and get ready for next season. We race with 19T motors. I hope to see you out there. You can check www.rccar.com for more details.

AMS used to make the rothmans decal set, but it has since been discontinued. I would suggest posting a request for them on formula1-rc, someone there may still have some they are willing to part with.
