The 3.0 comes with a 7075 lightened chassis out of the box.

lol you dont even have the car yet and ur talking different chassis already... the stock chassis is money. no need to spend the extra cash. are you pro? then you probably wont even benefit from switching. no offense

The chassis layout is completely different. Chassis is more narrow and they optimized the electronics layout vs just converting the nitro so yes.

I have both cars but don't have enough time on either yet to see which one is better but every person that I have talked to that has switched from the 3.0 converted to the 3.0E has said that the 3.0E was a better buggy.

I think the 3.0 E runs better than the converted car. I've had both - took the converted car to nats. I definitely prefer the real e-buggy over the converted car. Subtle improvements, but noticeable when you drive the car.

Tyler said his TLR8E 3.0 had more steering than his converted car. To me, car looks more nimble on track.

Can anyone confirm if the Losi Titanium Shock standoff (LOSA5439) is compatible with the 8ight (-E) 3.0 shocks? Many thanks!

It will work but you need to add a 1 mm shim under in between it and the shock tower or under the shock bushing (I prefer the the 2nd method) to compensate for the larger shock diameter.
