Rx8 gen2 1900 combo.our track is a medium size outdoor on clay with lots of grip.

Wink Hello from Germany ...

i probably got one out of the first batch arrived here in Gemany. I completed the build within last weekend and i am doing the paint job right now. I was quite fascinated by the quality of the single parts and i had lots of fun building it. Just had one minor issue by assembling the front axle to the chassis, i had to dremel of some thenth of a millimeter . Thanks of you guys i knew what to do with the tight fitting ball joints.

I do have one question, is anybody out there who knows wether we gonna have to take the Nitro 3.0 setupsheet or will there be a specific 3.0 E setupsheet comming soon ?

i will post a picture once done with the paint job.

Greetings from Bavaria

Florian

There are specific ones coming. I will get Adam to put one together for outdoor as well.

The stock one works great on indoor or on outdoor blue groove type setups.

It's about $500 to convert a 2.0. Best bet is to just buy the 3.0E and get everything fresh. Losipartshouse has the best price.

For the parts that you would need to convert a 2.0 over, you are better off buying a new kit and selling your 2.0. Sorry.

Everything in the center except the diff itself is new.
The shocks and towers are new.
The arms and spindles and carriers in the front are new.

Basically the front, Center, and rear diffs, rear arms and hubs are about what you could still use from the 2.0.

Raced the 3.0 for the first time this weekend at the NCT finals, ended up 7th overall with some tough competition. The A was stacked! One crash meant multiple positions lost. I finished 5th in A1 and A2 and I think 7th in A3 after a couple mistakes.

Car was excellent, had to change my setup a bit to get the steering I wanted, other than that I couldn't be happier with the new buggy. Smooth, quiet, nimble, fast, everything is good. It was the only one at the race and glad I could put it in the A and have a decent couple runs! Had fastest lap in A1 too!

Pballer

Yes start with your currect nitro set up if you are happy with it. If running outdoors you will most likely want to thicken it up by 5wt and may like a thicker rear bar.

I am still working on a std set up as well but this is what I have liked from nitro set up so far. (Depending on battery size weight etc of course)

Nice job on the kit Ryan! I will be parking the Truggy in favor of the Ebuggy this year

We posted Adam Drakes outdoor setup for his 8ight E 3.0. He runs the larger pack and motor and on some typical outdoor tracks so this should help some out.

I used the oil & pistons that came in the kit, but my front shocks feel extremely stiff compared to the rear. Any thoughts?
