TLR 8IGHT E 3.0 THREAD
#2057
Yeah, the mogul section was a pain and totally threw off the flow of the rest of the track, but it was a separator and rewarded those that could dance through it! It got everyone eventually, just glad my last rodeo through there I managed to land on the wheels!

I recently built a new 8IGHT-E 3.0 and a new 8IGHT-T 3.0.
I tried all three 25 tooth metal servo horn inserts I have on a Savox servo I have and none of them go over the splines. NONE of the metal inserts I have fit the Savox.
I have a Hanger 9 aluminum Futaba servo horn that fits fine. I also have some of the plastic Losi 25 tooth servo inserts that fit fine, but not the metal ones!
Has anyone else encountered this? I apologize if it has been covered. I googled it and can't seem to find any info on this issue.

All the Savox I have used in the past used the Futaba arms, all alloy Losi.

Well after a dominating TQ I had a pretty crappy main, the track was falling apart caught a rut and it just happen to be by a not so eager marshal. Any hoot in the end it was a Losi Domination.. The 3.0 was dialed. It's hard to believe one flip put me so far back. So I just started practicing some club night lines..LOL. I TQ'd by 9 seconds to finish 6th. That sucked but here's a rare photo of a 4 man podium. You don't see these to often.

Hey guys, Took my e 3.0 out today and after 2 quals she was running good. went to set her down for main and little throttle and had some grinding noise... pick it up and do throttle of a stand and nothing.. set it back down and she goes about a foot and grinds the whole way... Took out all the diffs and there is no teeth missing on ring and pinions and center diff looks fine... Bearings seem to be fine but any ideas? has this happened to someone else?
Thanks

BTW I ran the JC lid and did not care for it one bit. Going back to the TLR shark fin. The JC may have had a bit more steering but jumping was not as good when airing it out. It was all pretty much no performance value. But it has more clearance for batteries. I just didn't like the look. It looks like an old Chevy pick up truck and looks like its really high on the chassis.
