If your running asphalt, I would take the time to prep and CA the edges. It will save from any splintering that may occur from a rock on the surface.

Anything that is a direct fit for a 417X or 418, Durango is supposed to release an 86 sometime this month for stock.

The kit comes with a 64p 116t spur. Team Durango also offer 86 and 100t spurs. Other brands that will fit are LeeSpeed, Panaracer and Spec-R.

The major difference is the distance between the layshaft pulleys. At approximately 2.18mm it is narrower that most everything else. Most if not all other spur gears are 3mm thick, (exceptions RW,PRS,Panaracer,Leespeed,Tamiya), and some of those have a 60 degree hole pattern.

Just got my tc410 kit and it was a different type of build than im used to... my biggest issue is i cant fit a 50t pinion. If i put a 2mm shim across the top deck to space it out to fit the pinion will drastically change the flex of the car?

You should be able to, I am running a 54/96 64p with the lay shaft in the lower position with no issues.

You will have to loosen the top deck to get bigger pinions in and out.

Yah i feel like an idiot, i guess after being up for 36 hours and trying to build a kit you forget some common sense. My issue was i couldnt fit the pinion on the motor with the top deck on while completely ignoring the gap for the pinion its self. Once i took a nap and went to my hobby shop to get some parts i realized i could take the top deck off then put the pinion on then put the top deck back on. Thats what i get for not sleeping and building a kit.

I was setting up my car for VTA last night and the front wheels rub on the steering knuckle arm and also hit the bottom of the shock when turned tight. Anyone know how thick of wheel spacers should a guy use, and will there be enough thread on the axles for the wheel nut, or do I have to find a shallower wheel nut?
Thanks

Wow, you don't need that much full lock on the front wheels that they touch the lower shocks.

For the top ball on the C hub, you can shave a little of the top so it can fit. If it still doesn't fit, on my DETC410, i used a Yokomo ball and cup, it was about 1-2mm lower in profile

Hello everyone,

My name is Steve Wang, owner of ST Racing Concepts (some of you that's been around here awhile, might remember me from old Speed Tech R/C days). We are looking to launch a line of titanium screw kits for the on-road racing segment. We are starting with a soft launch on the Durango DETC410 sedan

http://www.teamstrc.com/index.php?ro...th=118_121_128

It's a 106 pcs screw kit with a 6 pcs aluminum lock-nut set

We are also offering a discount coupon code: rctech2014 for those of you that are willing to try one out.

Thanks

Steve

hello everyone

i have bought two month ago a DETC 410 car and i have some dudes..
i have seen in manual that downstops measure is taken from the screw down the arm,in setup sheet there s a star showing that type of measurement. i ever do putting two blocks under the chasis and with downstop bar check the distance between the table and the finish of the arm..
but in that car the arm finish is big and i don't know where the pro drivers took his measure for setup sheets .. for example 5 mm front

thank you very much

Measure below the outer suspension pin under the arm.
