Default New 4wd Eletric buggy from Kyosho??

I know we've all seen the prototype shaft-driven 4wd car that some people have custom made out of Kyosho parts..... it look like the factory has taken the hint.

If I'm understanding things correctly these are early shots from the '05 Japan Hobby Expo/Show

Looking very much like a production kit:

More shots:

Hope we see this in the US!!!

This looks different that what I last saw of the "ZX-5" on radiocontrolzone .

Maybe this a different version of the same buggy, Like a "team" version?

Very nice however.

That looks a lot more like a production vehicle than the ZX-5. It looks like it has more molded parts on it.

I don't think this will make it into production. To cut costs, manufaturers share parts and mold costs from other cars in the line up. According to Cyrul who is helping develop the Onroad car, the shaft has been dropped and they've gone back to the drawing board to work on a belt car. Chances are, if this is true, it will most likely spell death to this version.

RCCA has pics of the new KYo car that should release. It's a double belt design unfortunately...
