1). One Car/Chassis/Body per team. Each team has 3-4 drivers. The car you start with is the car you must finish with. Repairs may be made to the car but the car you start with must be the same car you finish with.
2). Most teams will fit a fast change battery system to their chassis.
3). The car rolls into the pits the battery is changed the car rolls out of the pit it's weighed by the tech officials. Every car must pass inspection before returning to the race track.

I like this! But I have to say, I'd only allow the VTA treaded tires because that's part of the fun aspect of running VTA. Also, I'd cap the batteries at 5000 because that's what most people already have in their boxes as it's a common mah rating for batteries. Only a few companies make 5800's and do people really want to go and buy new batteries?

I like the car rules .. There will be NO chassis changes with the same body running . (cant move the body over to another chassis then switch it back to be with in the rules ..
5000 batteries I think will be good ,, Cant Wait for All the Fun ..
Motor and FDR ... Great idea .. Now it"s a all about setup and driving ...

Let's do this!
If we stay with treaded tires you're gonna need a lot of tires.
Just sayin, besides, the true Trans Am cars ran on slicks! No?
Not sure whose idea it was to pencil treaded tires into the RC scene anyway.
I think it was to make em look like the street driven cars.
I vote slicks for the enduro.

I'm just looking out for our racers' wallets. On the surface where our Enduro Race is taking place the slicks yield faster the lap times and last longer. The treaded tires cost the same as the slicks. For me I just did the math and it made since to me.

Cuda we can't really blame the VTA races for this one because the racing slicks were released quite awhile after the original treaded tire hit the market. I'm no rocket scientist but bang for your buck the slicks kick ass.

question I forgot to ask, says 10 tires max, does that mean it's up to us how we want to spread them out, ie. can do 4 fronts and 6 rear, or 6 fronts and 4 rear etc.? Should make for some interesting pit strategies! This is gonna be fun!!!!

Heck yes I'm gonna be there, shoot, I'm the backup driver for the bandwagon I jumped on the day Todd told me he would be twistin our arms to get Outlaw Trans Am started here in So Cal.
And by the way, I'm teaming up with Todd and our crew is named "The Trans Am Outlaws", of course.
Our mission: Put on a Vulgar Display Of Power
Can't wait!
