I found the Ride tires had too much push. I'm running the Pit Shimizu 574 fronts and 572 rears.

Some people are running the Rides in the rear with the Pit Shimizu in the front. The most common Shimizu combination is 572/571 but on our track I needed a bit more front grip so I went with 574/571. When I ran Rides I ran the hard tire in the rear and the soft up front and it still pushed badly.
With rubber tires softer isn't always going to give you more grip. A lot depends on the heat of the track you run on. Very hot tracks are better with a harder tire because soft tires get greasy when they overheat.

And make sure when you see Pit's tires and they called it out "SOFT"...it is not the tire compound soft, they are describing the SIDE WALL "SOFT"....
For carpet definitely 571/572 combo...that is equivalent to Tamiya TCS F/R tires...and when using Pit's tire, you must also purchase the Tamiya FOAM TIRES rims....regular rims with rib you have to grind them off and need some modify work.

Is this combination good for asfalt ? 571 fronts and 572 rears? Usually at my club they run ride supet soft both front and rear.

That depends on the track...not all asphalt tracks are going to have the same grip. I tried it on our track and the 571/572 combo worked fine. I like the 574/572 combo better on our asphalt track though as it gives me a little more steering than the 571/572 combo. If your track runs all super soft though you may need a softer rear so you might want to use the 575 or 579 rears with the 571 or 574 fronts.

I've just received my carbon battery holder plate. Anyone got any idea what the two 10mm grub screws that are in the packet are for?
